These wheels were made from scratch as part of a clay model for one of my 2nd year modules.
The alloy itself was made on Solidworks before being 3D printed using PLA.
The tyre consisted of multiple layers of MDF which were laser cut using a file created on Illustrator.

Repeated sanding, priming then final coats were applied; with a final layer of clear coat being put on to give the tyre a “Wet Look” and to allow the alloy to have improved reflections on the individual spokes.
